Hong Kong-based Fly Meta will increase its fleet of large-widebody freighter aircraft to five by leasing four 777-300ERSFs from AerCap. The first two planes are expected to arrive in the second half of 2024 and the remaining two in Q3 2025. Fly Meta confirmed that the four 777-300ERs selected for conversion are likely not older than 2011-vintage.
Fly Meta is proactively reaching out to partners and will work with airlines to provide ready-to-use capacity to its customers and other operational support. Fly Meta also plans to consider buying or leasing A330-300Fs and 747-400Fs in the future.
